1st Friday Free Workout with November Project

Set your alarm and head into Piedmont Park every first Friday of the month for a free workout! Every first Friday at 6:27am, no matter the weather, the November Project Atlanta (City #44) will be in the Park holding each other accountable, pushing their limits, and helping each other become better.
  • This event is open to all fitness levels.
  • Meet at the steps of the Historic Visitors Center which is the brick building dockside to the lake by the 12th Street and Piedmont Avenue gate by Willy’s restaurant. See map.
  • Workout starts exactly at 6:27am and ends by 7:15am.

This event is held in partnership with the Piedmont Park Conservancy, the nonprofit that preserves and enhances beautiful Piedmont Park by raising and investing over $3 million in the Park each year.

About November Project

November Project™ is a FREE fitness movement that was born in Boston as a way to stay in shape during cold New England months.  Now present in multiple cities around the world, this grassroots movement promotes building a strong community through free fitness by using a simple sense of accountability (verbal) to motivate and encourage people of all ages, shapes, sizes and fitness levels to get out of their beds and get moving.

November Project members vary from Olympic medalists, professional athletes, marathoners, triathletes, current and former collegiate athletes all the way to complete fitness rookies and recent couch potatoes just looking to kickstart their healthy life choices.
