Calling all Junior Chemists, Geologists, Physicists and Astronomers! Focus: Physical Sciences, math, engineering and the study of non-living things Activities may include: designing pinecone parachutes, boats that float, balloon race cars, bottle rockets, and sundials
Trash to Treasure Tuesdays
Calling all Junior Planet Protectors! Focus: Environmental Education and the study of Reduce, Re-use, Recycle Rule Activities may include: creating bird feeders, watering cans, and artwork from recycled materials, remaking plant-able paper, constructing worm compost/observing worm’s adaptations, and experimenting with pollution solutions
WONDERful and Wild Wednesdays
Calling all Junior Biologists, Botanists, and Zoologists! Focus: Life Science, the study of plants, animals, and other living organisms Activities may include: monarchs and milkweed garden tour and solar prints, buzz on bees apiary tour and honeycomb craft, needs, seeds, and nature habitat hike and Mother Nature bracelet, decomposer compost tour and fungi as art mushroom masterpiece, who is who bird watching and owl pellet dissection.
