Restrooms
Restrooms are located near the Bathhouse, the Noguchi Playground, the Tennis Center, and behind Magnolia Hall.

Security & Medical Emergencies
Public telephones are located between Clara Meer and the Tennis Center. In case of an emergency, dial 911. During peak hours, the patrolling security guard can assist in contacting the authorities.

Piedmont Park is safer, cleaner and more beautiful than ever. Let's keep it that way! Please take care of YOUR park by adhering to the following guidelines:

  Piedmont Park opens at 6:00 am and closes at 11:00 pm. Strictly Enforced.
  Defacing, harming or damaging park property is a crime. No plant, tree, flower, animal or other natural feature may be harmed or removed from Piedmont Park. Violators will be prosecuted.
  Grilling is allowed only in designated areas and only in grills provided. No portable grills or ground fires are allowed. Dowse hot coals.
  Glass containers are not allowed. Alcoholic beverages allowed only at permitted events.
  Pets must be on a leash at all times, unless in the off-leash area of the park (located north of the meadow, past the Park Drive underpass). Leash may not exceed 6 feet in length. Pick up and dispose of pet waste properly. Do not allow pets to urinate on trees, shrubs or flowers.
  Pets are not allowed in the lake, on tennis courts, on the ball fields or the playgrounds.
  No swimming or boating in the lake. Fishing is allowed with proper licenses.
  Organized/team sports are only permitted in the Oval.
  No bicycles or any wheeled devices, except wheelchairs or strollers, are allowed on the grass or on paths designed for pedestrians only.
  Skateboards, rollerblades and similar wheeled devices are not allowed on the stairways, steps, benches, curbs, walls, monuments or patios.
  Limited parking is available off Park Drive and behind the Community Center. Automobile traffic is not permitted on interior park roads.
  Speed limit for any wheeled conveyance is 10 mph.
  Playgrounds are for children. Adults must be accompanied by children on the playgrounds.
  Respect your neighbor. Keep music, music instruments and voices at a reasonable level. Amplified music is prohibited.
  Littering and dumping are prohibited.

Vending by permit only. During permitted events the following rules are in effect:
  No stakes, posts, poles, or holes may be driven into the ground for a tent, stage or any other structure.
  No pets are allowed except for service dogs or animals that are part of a performance, exhibit, or other activity conducted as part of the permitted event.
