Phase One - "Breaking New Ground"

Phase One of the expansion, themed “Breaking New Ground,” will lay the infrastructure and foundation upon which future accommodations will be built. With a budget of $43 million, phase one renovations include plans to renovate 41 acres of land north of Park Drive Bridge and extending to Piedmont Avenue near the Ansley Mall area. This land is broken into two parcels – North Piedmont Park and Piedmont Commons.
Renovations to a third parcel, named Piedmont Gardens will likely occur in subsequent phases because of the ongoing CSO project housed on the site.
