Green Market 2016
March 19 - December 10, 2016
Piedmont Park Conservancy's Program Department hosts the Green Market, a local farmers market serving Midtown’s population with fresh, clean local food. The Green Market is held Saturdays from 9:00am - 1:00pm, early March - mid-December, inside the 12th Street and Piedmont Avenue NE park entrance.
Voted one of the top five farmer’s markets in Atlanta by Access Atlanta, Green Market encourages sustainable communities in the most basic way - by providing shoppers with direct access to local farmers and merchants. It's as simple as that.
Local farmers, bakers, sauce makers and hand made goodies; there is something for everyone. While you shop you can enjoy prepared foods and drinks for breakfast and lunch.
The market features live music and a chef demonstration April-November. Bring the kids for weekly activities! Learn to can and preserve seasonal fruits and vegetables at our hands-on canning workshops offered during Green Market. To register please visit www.preservingnow.com.
