Piedmont Park Conservancy is now accepting Vendor applications for the 2010 Green Market season. In partnership with the City of Atlanta Parks, Recreation and Bureau of Cultural Affairs, Piedmont Park Conservancy will host the Green Market every Saturday Morning, May 1st through December 11th from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Piedmont Park’s 12th Street entrance gate.

Spread out along the dogwood-lined streets of Atlanta’s Piedmont Park, Green Market is an open-air farmer’s market featuring locally grown produce, artisan cheeses, fresh cut flowers and natural merchandise. Voted one of the top five farmer’s markets in Atlanta by Access Atlanta, Green Market encourages sustainable communities in the most basic way - by providing shoppers with direct access to local farmers and merchants. It’s as simple as that.
