Why were you drawn to Piedmont Park for the most important day of your life?
I grew up in Atlanta, and Vin’s family is from New York. I wanted our reception to have Southern flair, so Piedmont Park was the perfect setting. Now that we are living in London, I love that our wedding pictures remind me not only of our special day and how much fun we had, but also of just how wonderful my hometown is.


What was your reception like at Magnolia Hall? Any favorite moments?
Our reception went from day into night, so we truly got to enjoy our setting in the park. Located in a beautiful and historic part of Atlanta, Magnolia Hall combines a rustic feel inside, with windows and doors opening up to a gorgeous courtyard outside, surrounded by dogwoods, and old oak trees. When the sun went down, and the lanterns in the trees were glowing, it was truly magical.



If you had it all to do again, would you choose the facilities at Piedmont Park?
Absolutely! I looked at several facilities in Atlanta, and none other could offer the combination of gorgeous indoor and outdoor space that Magnolia Hall could.

And the staff is excellent. The manager was at my reception and he was so accommodating, everyone was raving about how beautiful and enjoyable it was.
