Grilling has long been a favorite activity in the park. In 1895, a barbecue pit operated during the Cotton States and International Exposition on the site of what is now Piedmont Park Conservancy administrative offices.

Today there are 22 grills provided throughout the park for your use and enjoyment. No portable grills are permitted in Piedmont Park. Thank you for utilizing the provided grills and helping us protect our beautiful park!
