The Green Concert
The Green Concert - Sir Paul McCartney
The Green Concert at Piedmont Park is back and bigger than ever! This year’s concert, in honor of the Conservancy’s 20th anniversary, will feature the musical genius of Sir Paul McCartney. Join us on Saturday, August 15, 2009 in the restored 10th Street Meadow.

Get more information on how to buy tickets. This environmentally themed concert will continue to raise funds for Piedmont Park’s 53-acre expansion and on-going maintenance, while promoting environmental sustainability.


Free BeltLine Tours
A free bus tour of the BeltLine is offered by the BeltLine Partnership every Friday and Saturday morning from the Inman Park/Reynoldstown MARTA Station located at 1055 Dekalb Ave., NE, Atlanta, GA 30307. The tours begin at 9:15 a.m. each morning and take approximately three hours from start to finish. Saturday, July 18 – Clean & Green Project
Keeping Piedmont Park clean and green is a never-ending job. Put your "heart and soil" in the park by assisting Conservancy landscapers with mulching, clean-up and planting efforts. Clean and Green Projects are a fun, interactive way to help beautify one of Atlanta's most treasured spaces - Piedmont Park, all while learning about some of the latest environmental issues and their impact and making new friends.
9am – noon, FREE
Groups or individuals are invited to help and check-in begins at 8:45 am. The minimum age for volunteers with adult supervision is 15 years old. In order to help us maximize your experience, we ask that groups contact us prior to their desired date of participation. Groups of 10 or more are required to register. Join us at the Green Market on the third Saturday of every month as two chefs create their BEST “in season” recipe and compete for your vote.
