Burn 500-1000 calories with this ultra mega-workout that incorporates 60 minutes of indoor cycling, a 10-minute abdominal workout and a 50-minute water aerobics experience. This is a great way to get in gear and look great for the summer and/or triathlon season. For those wanting an intense water aerobics class only, feel free to skip the cycle and enjoy the Splash! 23rd Annual Atlanta Pride Run Walk 5k
8:00am, $30 for advanced registration
Starting line located near the Piedmont Park
Aquatic Center,
This annual 5K race and walk organized by the Front Runners Atlanta running club. Front Runners Atlanta is a running, walking and social club for gay people and friends. Proceeds from the registration and other fundraisers are donated to a local charity that supports the GLBT community in Georgia. Get more information.

Green Market at Piedmont Park is back for its biggest year yet. Get healthy at the Park’s local farmers market featuring fresh produce, baked goods, fresh juice, honey, sauces, pasta, cheese, pastries, health /wellness products, artists and stop by for breakfast or lunch.

Canning Workshop 101: Water Bath Canning

Piedmont Park Community Center, $75.00
A complete 4 hour workshop that teaches all the basics of Water Bath Canning. This is a hands-on workshop with students doing the preparation and canning of a fruit, pickle or tomato product. Upon completion you will leave with a notebook and instructions and three jarred products. Get more information.

Sit Back and Reach: Flexibility Workshop
