EnviroVentures Summer Camp Registration Open
Piedmont Park Conservancy is excited to offer a summer full of EnviroVentures for your children! EnviroVentures Summer Camp includes a variety of programs and activities focusing on environmental education. Each session features many unique and traditional programs including Wheels Fridays, arts and crafts, swimming, park stewardship, outdoor sports and recreation, and weekly field trips! Free BeltLine Tours

A free bus tour of the BeltLine is offered by the BeltLine Partnership every Friday and Saturday morning from the Inman Park/Reynoldstown MARTA Station located at 1055 Dekalb Ave., NE, Atlanta, GA 30307. The tours begin at 9:15 a.m. each morning and take approximately three hours from start to finish.   Volunteer for Piedmont Park
Sat. 19 Clean & Green Projects
Keeping Piedmont Park clean and green is a never-ending job. Put your "heart and soil" in the park by assisting Conservancy landscapers with mulching, clean-up and planting efforts. Clean and Green Projects are a fun, interactive way to help beautify one of Atlanta's most treasured spaces - Piedmont Park, all while learning about some of the latest environmental issues and their impact and making new friends. Groups or individuals are invited to help. 9:00 am to 12 Noon - check-in begins at 8:45 am The minimum age for volunteers with adult supervision is 15 years old.

In order to help us maximize your experience, we ask that groups contact us prior to their desired date of participation, groups of 10 or more are required to register. Please call the Volunteer Manager at 404.876.4024 ext. 24 or email csmith@piedmontpark.org.

Atlanta’s favorite farmer’s market offers visitors a wide array of locally grown fruits and vegetables, natural products and weekly entertainment, such as live chef demonstrations and workshops that encourage environmentally friendly and healthy lifestyles.  9:00am to 1:00pm, located at the 12th Street entrance to the Park.  More info.

Explore Piedmont Park and discover what makes it a unique urban environment.  Participants will scour the park for all kinds of wildlife and the habitats they call home. For 5-12 year olds. 10:00am - 11:00am. Registration required. Get more information about EnviroVentures Saturdays.

Learn about the history of Piedmont Park and get a little exercise, by joining for a guided walking tour of Piedmont Park. The tour leaves from the Visitor Center at 11:00 a.m., lasts 60 to 90 minutes and covers all phases of the park’s development. Conservancy Connection Tour: Wimbish Mansion
Atlanta Woman's Club hosts Conservancy members and guests for a tour of the historic Wimbish Mansion, 1150 Peachtree Street, known as "The Grand Old Lady of Peachtree Street". 6:30 p.m. Please take MARTA. There is no parking at the house. There is a parking deck on Crescent and 14th, approximately 2 blocks from the entrance of the house. Space limited. RSVP today!
